The Aquael Ultramax 1000 is a high-capacity external canister filter designed for efficient mechanical and biological filtration in freshwater and marine aquariums. With a rated flow of 1,000 L/h and a large 11-litre filter volume, it provides substantial filtration capacity for aquariums from approximately 100 to 300 litres.

The Ultramax 1000 features an integrated prefilter positioned in the filter lid. This prefilter captures larger debris before it reaches the main filter media, helping reduce clogging and making routine maintenance easier. The prefilter can be accessed and cleaned without removing the complete canister from the aquarium cabinet.

The filter contains three 1.9-litre filter-media baskets, providing flexible space for mechanical, biological, and chemical filtration media. It is supplied with selected filtration cartridges and the necessary accessories, allowing the filter to be configured according to the requirements of your aquarium.
