How to Use

1. Place the canister filter below the aquarium in a stable and accessible location.

2. Arrange the filter pads and other compatible filter media inside the media trays.

3. Connect the inlet pipe and outlet pipe using the supplied hoses and fittings.

4. Position the intake strainer inside the aquarium.

5. Position the outlet pipe or spray bar to return filtered water to the aquarium.

6. Fill and prime the canister using the priming system according to the instruction manual.

7. Check all hose connections and seals for leaks before switching on the filter.

8. Connect the filter to the correct power supply and check water circulation.

9. Operate the UV function according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Important Note

• The rated flow rate of 1,400 L/H is the manufacturer's nominal pump output. Actual flow may be lower depending on filter media, hose length, installation height and maintenance condition.

• The UV lamp works on water passing through the designated UV chamber. It does not sterilise the entire aquarium instantly.

• Never operate the UV lamp when the UV chamber is empty or dry.

• Switch off and unplug the filter before opening it for cleaning or maintenance.

• Rinse biological filter media using removed aquarium water to help preserve beneficial bacteria.

• Additional biological and chemical filter media may need to be purchased separately, depending on the package contents.

• Confirm the voltage rating on your unit before connecting it to the power supply.
