Washable Sponge (Green)

Purpose:
These sponges are designed to provide mechanical and biological filtration in your aquarium. They trap debris and allow beneficial bacteria to thrive, which helps maintain water clarity and a healthy environment for fish.

🔹 Color Significance

• Blue Sponge: Typically medium to coarse density. Great for mechanical filtration, trapping larger particles and providing good flow.

• Black Sponge: Usually fine to medium density. Offers better biological filtration due to more surface area for bacteria colonization.

• Washable & Reusable: Can be rinsed under aquarium water (not tap water) and reused multiple times.

• Cut-to-Size: Many come in sheets or blocks that can be trimmed to fit any filter (e.g., canister, internal, HOB).
